“My dreams of green, greenery world –
Will it be fulfilled by you?
Now no one takes me out,
Under the hot Sun, to dig the soil anymore!
Now no one bothers to water my saplings,
Letting them to weaken out, like me!
Now no one looks after them -
Growing far away in my garden, with no one to mend!
As everyone is here, praying for me –
In my last moments, all the while I know!
Everyone knows that ‘they ‘are fading,
They say – it won’t be the same after fifty years or so!
Not in my life time, will I see greenery fading out -
As lady luck had taken little me in her side!
With few hours left in my life –
Doctor… I wish to plant a tree as my family will live on…!!”
Leaving my dreams of green, greenery world left unfulilled –
